Torah High is a unique educational institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence and cultivating a profound appreciation for Jewish life. As a Ministry of Education-inspected private school, we offer year-long high school credit courses that integrate Jewish studies with core high school subjects, all enriched by Jewish perspectives and content.
Our mission at Torah High extends beyond the classroom, providing students with meaningful experiences in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. These experiences transcend traditional education, encompassing weekly afternoon or evening classes, engaging social and holiday programs, inspiring weekend retreats, and even transformative summer journeys to Israel.
Torah High’s classes feature a mix of textual and multimedia-based lessons. These lessons delve into a wide spectrum of topics, including contemporary events and common challenges faced by high school students. All this is presented in the comfortable ambiance of the NCSY Centre, complete with enjoyable break times featuring video game systems and incredible snacks served at every class. Our dynamic instructors excel at conveying the depth and significance of traditional Jewish values, making them both meaningful and relevant to our students.
Torah High strives to instill in its students a profound sense of values, community, character, Jewish identity, leadership, and an enduring love for Torah, the Jewish people, and humanity at large.
Torah High is a proud beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa
The Jewish Federation of Ottawa (JFO) is delighted to introduce a transformative two-year Tuition Incentive Program, aimed at ensuring that Jewish education remains accessible to all. Commencing in the fall of 2023, this initiative is specifically designed for families embarking on their first-ever enrollment in supplementary schools. Through this program, JFO is committed to assisting families by covering $500 of the tuition fees in the first year and an additional $250 in the second year. When registering, kindly indicate your first-time enrollment status, and grant permission for Torah High to share your information with the Jewish Federation.
